Agent setup
Onboard your AI coding agent to DoDomain
Pick your tool below: Claude and ChatGPT open DoDomain's own listing, Cursor and VS Code add it in one click, and coding agents get one prompt to paste. Every path ends with a DoDomain sign-in, no API key.
Want the agent to install the SDK and verify the setup too? Point it at the plain-Markdown instructions at https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/prompt.md; it runs exactly those commands.
What you get
- The DoDomain MCP server at
https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp, with OAuth sign-in and 68 tools that cover every dashboard action. - The SDK for your stack: @dodomain/node, dodomain-sdk, @dodomain/connect, @dodomain/react, with the secret key read from
DODOMAIN_SECRET_KEY. - A verified setup: the agent calls
list_appsand the REST API before it reports back.
Set it up by hand
Claude Code
1. Register the DoDomain MCP server
claude mcp add --transport http dodomain https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp
Codex
1. Register the DoDomain MCP server
codex mcp add dodomain --url https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp2. Sign in to DoDomain (opens the browser for the OAuth consent)
codex mcp login dodomain
Cursor
1. Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json (this project only). If the file exists, merge the dodomain entry into its mcpServers object.
File:
~/.cursor/mcp.json{ "mcpServers": { "dodomain": { "url": "https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp" } } }
OpenCode
1. Add the server to opencode.json in the project root (or ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json for every project). If the file exists, merge the dodomain entry into its mcp object.
File:
opencode.json{ "$schema": "https://opencode.ai/config.json", "mcp": { "dodomain": { "type": "remote", "url": "https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp", "enabled": true } } }2. Sign in to DoDomain (opens the browser for the OAuth consent)
opencode mcp auth dodomain
GitHub Copilot (VS Code)
1. Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json in the workspace. If the file exists, merge the dodomain entry into its servers object.
File:
.vscode/mcp.json{ "servers": { "dodomain": { "type": "http", "url": "https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp" } } }
Any other MCP client: add a remote Streamable HTTP server with the URL https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp. Sign-in is discovered from the URL. MCP server guide
Verify
After signing in, ask the agent to call the list_apps tool: it lists the apps on your team. To check a secret key, run:
curl -s https://app.dodomain.io/api/v1/apps -H "Authorization: Bearer $DODOMAIN_SECRET_KEY"Success is HTTP 200 with a JSON body of the form {"apps": [...]}: a secret key sees exactly its own app, with its id, name and publishable key.
